Round and Round She Goes

Round and round she goes and where she stops, nobody knows.

"Your pain is caused by your tendons," says Dr. K.

"Your pain is caused by your nerves," says Dr. E.

"Your pain is caused by your bones," says Dr. B.

"Your pain is caused by your muscles," says Dr. P.

Round and round she goes and where she stops, nobody knows.

"It's tennis elbow - you need surgery."

"It's golfer's elbow - do these stretches."

"It's Carpal Tunnel Syndrome - wear this splint."

"The nerve is compressed - wear these elbow pads."

"Your muscles are tight - learn to relax."

Round and round she goes and where she stops, nobody knows.

"You need acupuncture."

"Go to massage therapy."

"Use this tens unit."

"Try pool therapy."

"Let's do ultra sound treatments."

Round and round she goes and where she stops, nobody knows.

"Take Lyrica."

"Take Relafen."

"Take Flexeral."

"Take Celebrex."

Round and round she goes and where she stops, nobody knows.

"The EMG rules out nerve damage. It must be muscle and bone
pain."

"The CT scan shows no bone abnormalities in your neck and spine."

"Your blood tests are all normal."

Round and round she goes and where she stops, nobody knows.

"You need to see Dr. K."

"Follow-up with Dr. B."

"Go back to Dr. E."

"Make another appointment with Dr. P."

Round and round she goes and where she stops, nobody knows.

"Come back in three months."

"Return in two months."

"I'll see you again in six months."

Round and round she goes and where she stops, nobody knows.

  1. Good one. Reminds me a little of Dr. Seuss... a touch of something else, too.

By the way, thanks for the little tip on color identifying clothes. (My 8 month old son is DeafBlind and I am Deaf myself.)
