stoffel's guide to monster manor

Guest, blogger, Scott Stoffel, takes you on a tour of one of his
Tactile Carnival games... and I'm the star of the show.

It's been a while since I've written a column for Stoffel's
Guide. Yep, just when you think it's safe, here comes an ambush.

Your humorist has been distracted with many other projects in
recent months, including the Tactile Carnival. So what better way
to revive the ol' Guide than to take you on a close and personal
tour of a carnival exhibit?

So here we are at the top of a barren cliff overlooking a deep,
rocky ravine. There's supposed to be a pool down there somewhere,
but I wouldn't advise trying the high dive. Perched atop the
desolate mountain stands a sprawling Gothic manor built of black
stone, complete with spires, arched doorways and a 13th century
satellite dish. Crows congregate on the weatherworn tombstones of
a forgotten private cemetery to the left of the dark house,
fighting over the front-row seats to the upcoming spectacle
